Day 02 - A show that you wish more people were watching
I'm a fan of Joshua Jackson and "X-Files" so When "Fringe" popped up, I just couldn't help myself.

Unlike The X Files, or even other shows like Lost, this show answers questions. It has a clear arc where continuity actually means something. The questions posed aren't there just to be mysterious, but ultimately lead somewhere. The plot is intricate and evolving, and it just gets better and better. And then characters? Man, there's another group you just grow to love more and move. Badass Olivia. Peter, who defies definition for why you love him so much. Walter, who is both humorous and heartbreaking. Astrid. Broyles. CHARLIE! Great cast. Plus the ship ain't too bad, either. It started off as friendship, and then a nice slow burn that naturally evolved into something more.

I honestly don't understand why more people don't watch this show. It's better than 90% of what's out there on TV, easily.

Ha, this was the show I picked as well! And you mentioned one of the best things about it- Fringe doesn't ask questions just to be provocative and lead us on and be a complete tease without ever following through [or resolving it years after people stopped caring- Mulder's sister, anyone? Good ep, but there was a distinct lack of emotional payoff for me after all that time].

And god, the characters- when I'm watching a show for the batty old scientist with more quirks to recommend him than looks...given how shallow I am, and how ship-oriented I am, that's a huge deal. Oh, WALTER. He makes me laugh and makes me wibble in equal measure. The white tulip moment, my heart! *shatters*

Btw. You mentioned Astrid and Broyles but...no Nina? *wuvs Nina*

OMG, CHARLIE. *dies* That was so awful, I was begging them not to kill him and what did they do? They killed him. *sighs* First a shape-shifter successfully masquerades as him for a few eps, and now Alt!Livia's infiltrating the team, it's so terribly wrong. *wibbles*
Nina! Of course I love her! She was an original HBIC. ;)
Do eet! Watch it!

You'll probably end up getting a big fancrush on Olivia's character, who gets more badass and awesome as the days go on.
I absolute love fringe, is like x-files's child. Love the series and the twist that come with it. Did you see the 2 season finale? I can wait for the next season, seriously! ToT.
